‘Black Panther’ Star Danai Gurira Does The Most Intense Workout You’ve Ever Seen

If it’s Sunday, please do not disturb Danai Gurira. That’s the one day the actress-playwright-activist likes to lay down her weapons (we’re talking prop sword or pen) and carve out time for self-care. “Creating ritualized time and space to nurture myself is something I’m constantly trying to figure out and develop,” she says. It’s not always easy to accomplish, she admits, but it feeds her soul. “There’s nothing more fun, more replenishing, than a Sunday of walking in nature, enjoying friends’ company, or having a great meal.” Today is a Thursday, and Danai is engaged in nourishment of another kind: dinner at Little Dom’s, a popular Los Angeles bistro. As she talks about her current projects, it’s clear why she needs—and deserves—her weekly day of rest. Not only is she a star on one of TV’s most popular shows, AMC’s The Walking Dead, but she’s also been busy portraying fearsome general Okoye in Marvel Studios’ Black Panther (the highest-grossing superhero flick in domest...

Meghan Markle Says Facial Exercises Keep Her Looking So Young

Your face is the first thing anyone sees, so it makes sense that most people are a little obsessed with making sure their skin stays as smooth and youthful as possible — including the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle. The 36-year-old (yes, really!) has spoken extensively about her passion for health, fitness, and beauty, from her semi-vegan diet to minimal makeup that showcases her natural freckles. When it comes to her face, Meghan is clearly blessed by genetics, but she reportedly turns to an unconventional method for keeping her cheekbones and jawline firm. "I do facial exercises from one of my favorite aestheticians, Nichola Joss, who basically has you sculpt your face from the inside out," Meghan told Birchbox in 2014. "I swear it works, as silly as you may feel. On the days I do it, my cheekbones and jawline are waaaay more sculpted. There's a reason she is in high demand around awards season when every actress wants to look A-plus." Meghan ...

A Candid Convo with Wendy Williams: Racism, "Dumb Women," and Ignoring the "Gangsters Behind Their Keyboards"

A Candid Convo with Wendy Williams: Racism, "Dumb Women," and Ignoring the "Gangsters Behind Their Keyboards" When Wendy Williams has something to say, people listen. Yes, she says it like she means it, and no, she doesn't care if you agree, disagree, or think it's too much. And with over 30 years in the media business—this month the talk show host is celebrating the 10-year anniversary of The Wendy Williams Show—she isn't quieting down anytime soon. To mark the show's anniversary and the launch of her Hunter Foundation's first-ever "Give Back Gala"–as well as Be Here, a campaign aiming to "change the face of addiction"–to raise funds for victims of drug and substance abuse, Williams stopped by Cosmopolitan.com HQ for some wide-ranging real talk about her biggest fears, what she really thinks of her critics, and her own struggle with cocaine and how she wants to help others. Oh, and and why she prefers to stay at ho...

Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen Just Pulled a Total Loved Up Hiddleswift Move

Tom Brady pulled out a move from Tom Hiddleston's love playbook on Tuesday, which also happened to be Valentine's Day in Brazil, by wearing an "I heart Gisele" T-shirt to show his love for his wife Gisele Bündchen. "Yes I do! ❤️ Feliz dia dos namorados! Te amo muito!" he captioned the cute photo on Instagram, and it looks like Bündchen approves of the outfit choice. In 2016, Hiddleston famously made a similar declaration of love during his three-month tryst with Taylor Swift. Perhaps it's a Tom, thing? On Fourth of July weekend that year, the Avengers actor was photographed frolicking in a Rhode Island beach wearing an "I heart T.S." shirt, and the Internet had a field day poking fun at Hiddleston (even Robert Downey Jr. got in on the action). Some suspected the gesture was a publicity stunt, but after the couple split, Hiddleston told GQ how the wardrobe choice came about in the first place. “We were playing a game and I sli...
